Dear Deseret Industries,
You are awesome! Thank you for providing Calin and I with hours of cheap entertainment. Thank you for my Christmas tree. Thank you for my R.L. Stine Fear Street books (NOT Goosebumps). I guess this would be a good time to admit my love for the Fear Street books. I have 55 of them, all bought at different DIs. Thank you for taking anything and everything people donate...wedding dresses, stained table clothes, old forks, ratty slippers, Richard Simmons Dancing to the Oldies... You have it all. I remember for a mutual activity, the young men and women went to the Centerville DI and helped sort items. My job was to bring books from the back and shelve them according to genre. By the time I was done my hands were literally black (books can get super duper dirty!) Thank you for a full soap dispenser in your restrooms. Thanks for a cheap date night or spontaneous clothes shopping. Our most recent trip went very well. Orange fraternity shirt $1, white ladies capris $3, grass-green Moo-Moo $3 and a new addition to my R.L Stine collection $0.75. A fun Saturday for only $7.75. Thanks DI for making me smile and laugh my pants off!
Calin are you really wearing women's capri pants? We need to have a talk. Maybe that is the new style, and I'm just out of the loop. I could not get dad to go try on clothes at the DI. He won't even go to the department stores to try on clothes. I just buy them and bring them home. Centerville DI never has that cheap pf clothes either. You found some great deals.
