Letter #19 "Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;" Ephesians 2:

Dear BYU 85th Ward,

Thank you! I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am for you. I was beginning to think that I would always dread going to church and eventually become inactive. The ward that Calin and I were going to before was dreadful. I have never felt so unwelcome, alone and sad in a ward. I don't want to focus too much on the negative so, thank you 85th Ward for being so welcoming. My first day in Relief Society, I was introduced, said the prayer and other people actually sat by me. It was great! I am terrified to say prayers out loud but, I am grateful for the chance to get out of my shell. Thank you for being so kind and for showing us where our Sunday school class was. Thank you for being so on the ball. I'm impressed that you even took our picture for the ward directory! You have accomplished more in one week than our previous ward did in 3 months. I was beaming all day because of the 85th ward. I think Calin was sick of hearing me talk about how great our new ward is :) I felt the spirit more this past week in our new ward than I have at our old ward (5 months combine!)Everyone is nice to each other and seem to genuinely care about you. Thank you. I can't wait to get to know you all!
