Letter #17 "Grandpas hold our tiny hands for just a little while, but our hearts forever." ~Author Unknown

Dear Snoop Dawg,

Yodel-a-he-who!!! I love you so much G-pa! I love hanging out with you and listening to you "yodel". You can always make me laugh! Thank you. Thank you for creating such a strong family bond. I love that all the siblings (your kids) visit every Sunday. I know a lot of people who have never even met their first cousins...it's so weird! Thank you for allowing us to all gather together every week mess up your basement, eat your ice cream and tear up your lawn. I appreciate your patience and love.
Thank you for taking me camping. You took Taylor and I on a lot of camping trips. My favorite was when we went to Vernal the day after I spent the night in the ER having casts put on both my arm and leg from falling out of your big tree. We stayed at a camp ground with a pool but I could never get in so you made other plans to entertain us. Thank you. You took us fishing and to a museum. I had a lot of fun!
Thank you for building the cabin. Besides Bountiful, I like to think that I grew up there, in the mountains at our beautiful family cabin.
Thank you for naming my mom Lisa Kaye and waking her up every morning by saying, "good morning Lisa Kaye!" classic! Now, for some reason, she despises hearing that. So, thank you for providing me a way to tease my mom. Thank you for giving her a "horse" every year for Christmas. You have an awesome sense if humor!
I remember when calin and I came to your house to put up the Christmas village and when we were backing out of your driving way you yelled for us to stop. I thought something was wrong with the car so I pulled back into the driveway and rolled down the window. You pointed at the tires and said, "you better get those tires looked at, they were moving backwards!" I laughed the whole way home. You have such a smart alec/sarcastic sense of humor-- just like me. I love you so much! Thanks for being my grandpa. I love you forever and always.
