Thank you for making me laugh. Thank you for being so reliable. It is often that I can’t on rely on when I’ll get something in the mail or if the maintenance man will actually show up on the day
that he said he’d come to fix our leaky faucet but, I can always count on the newspaper being delivered to my house and that it will have my funnies in it. Thank you.
Along with writing thank you letters I decided that every week Calin and I would pick our
favorite funny and put it up on the wall. It is something to look forward to—finding the perfect comic. Then, when I am having a not so good day I can look to my left (while on my bed) and read all the funnies and laugh all over again. I believe that laughter can also cure depression. Laugh everyday.
I don’t have a specific comic that I like best. My only requirement is that it should make me laugh and feel good about life. Thank you for accomplishing these things. I am looking forward to this next Sunday!
Although Calvin and Hobbs are no longer in the Sunday Funnies, here is my tribute to them because they can make me laugh the hardest (especially if they are playing calvinball!)
