Dear Torin,
Thank you for being such a cute, funny, loving little boy. We have come a long way since I first met you in Wendover. You wouldn't even look at me then. I was a weird stranger. Now, we play Mad Birdies (Angry Birds) together! I have loved seeing you grow up. Thank you for the funny things you say. Thank you for being so polite. I think the cutesy thing I've ever heard you say was when we were at the zoo. Hailey accidentally stepped on the back of your shoe and she immediately said sorry. You turned to her and said in your sweet child voice, "you don't have to say sorry." My heart fluttered with joy :) Thank you for reminding me to stay grounded. You get so excited about the littlest things. When you sat on Santa's lap during Christmas time he asked you what you wanted for Christmas. You told him you wanted a ceiling fan. Thank you for loving life. Thank you for being my little buddy. I love you!

Letter #42 "to act for ourselves and not to be acted upon.”
Dear Free Agency,
I have so much gratitude today for agency. More specifically I am grateful for my parents and their decision to be sealed in the temple for all time and eternity. I am grateful to be born into the covenant. I am even more grateful that my parents have continued to teach us and live a Christ like life. Thank you for your great example. Looking at friends, family and even strangers my heart aches for them because of the choices they are making. Although agency is free, all our choices come with a price. I hope and pray that I can follow the footsteps of my parents. There is so much sadness around me involving family and giving up on an eternal family. I wish on every shooting star, every penny in the fountain and eyelash blown that the people I love will come back. Come back to Christ and be who they once were. I am grateful for agency to choose and learn from choices. Thank you to my parents who are perfect in my eyes and for the example they have set for Russ, Kenzie and I. Thank you. I love you.

Letter #41 "peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment"~ Joseph Smith
Dear Julie,
Thank you for becoming a good friend to me. I have loved working with you. It will be weird not seeing you everyday now that you work at nights. Thank you for confiding in me your life's story. Thank you for being so strong. My heart hurts for what has happened and the process that you have to go through right now. You are such a great person. You have a light that is contagious. Thank you for putting up with my forgetfulness, disorganization and weird habits. I appreciate all you do for me and I wanted to thank you. Love ya girl!

Letter #40 "Behold, thou knowest that thou hast inquired of me and I did enlighten thy mind" D&C 6:14-15
Dear Grandma Hess,
I want to thank you for how sweet you are to me. I have loved visiting with you and getting to know you. Thank you for being such a great influence to the family. I loved your story about getting Garrison to do homeschool seminary. You are a great mother and an awesome grandma. Thank you for your ability to listen to the spirit. This is something that I am still working on. Grandpa told me what happened on memorial day. You decided that you needed to go to the Provo cemetery. You knew you had some family there, but you didn't know why you felt impressed to go. On impression alone, you went and started to search for a relative. After spotting a lady cleaning a grave you approached her and noticed she was at the grave you were looking for. She had fallen away from the church a few years ago because she lost a granddaughter and didn't know how to deal with it. She went to the cemetery hoping and praying for answers. You were her answer. Thank you. I love you so much and I am so glad to be part of your family. I love you!

Letter #39 "If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "thank you," that would suffice." ~Meister Eckhart
Dear Josh,
Thank you for being so nice to me. Thank you for being willing to help me with catering orders and doing such a great job! Thank you for being a good dad. It is so great when you talk about your kids. I can tell you love them so much. Although I don't know too much abut your life, i know that you have had some hard times. Thank you for staying strong and for being a great guy. I know that your family loves you so much and that they will always be there for you. Thank you.

Lady in the pink scarf,
Thank you for your beautiful testimony today. You said something that I really needed to hear. Those same things are happening in my family, and I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders as you spoke about your family trials. Thank you for your positive words. You have given me hope. Thank you.

Letter #37 A Thank You to the one and only Stewpot Mike!
Mike Marra,
Hey MIKEY! Thank you for being such an AWESOME kitchen manager! Seriously, you are the hardest working person I know! You are constantly and consistently making the restaurant a success. Thank you for all your funnies. Man, when you and Jared are together it is ridiculous (in a good/laugh your face off way)! Do you remember when you slipped and fell in the kitchen? Ha! I literally just laughed out loud! And do you remember when I walked into the back and caught you doing some sort of cowboy dance? Hahaha!
Thank you for helping me learn the ropes and for being patient with my short comings. Thank you for being so organized and always wiling to go above and beyond your job description. Thanks for letting Calin and I be on the Five Star BBQ softball team...even though we've missed the last 3 games! I hope ya'll won yesterday :) Thanks for being such a great guy. I love coming to work and the first thing I hear is a conference talk. You are such a great example and think you are great. Thank you for being a positive influence at Five Star. Love ya man!

Letter #36 "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." John Quincy Adams
Dear Angela Brown,
Thank you for being my most favorite teacher in the entire world. I initially signed up for theater because I knew it would be easy and fun. I left high school an accomplished person because of you. Thank you for providing so many opportunities for me to succeed. You are such a great teacher and mentor. Thank you for pushing me to do my best.
My best memories of high school always involved theater. I LOVED doing my HI, humorous DUO interpretation and dramatic monologue. Before high school I never won anything, but my very first drama competition I took Grandpa's Teeth and won 1st place! I was addicted! I loved winning and having a reputation. At other competitions other competitors simply called me "Teeth". Thank you for that opportunity and a chance to be a better person.
Thank you for helping me use my talents. I loved being part of all the plays. I started in Pillow Talk as Ms. Dickenson. Then Cookie in Rumors (my favorite!) and as Aunt Martha in Arsenic and Old Lace. Thank you for all your hard work and keeping the arts a well respected and coveted department at Bountiful High School.
Thank you!

Letter #35 "Friends are the bacon bits in the salad bowl of life"
Dear Liz Biz,
I wanted to thank you for everything you have done for me. Moving into the 23rd ward I was distraught to discover that I was only 1 of 2 girls my age (Mindy Smith). After Mindy moved I was left with a bunch of rowdy obnoxious boys. I don't really remember the circumstances how we met but I am so glad that we did. I remember playing DDR in your basement for hours--you always getting A's and me C's. Thank you for being such a good friend to me. I can't tell you how much light and positiveness you have given me. I have always looked up to you. You are such a great example to me.
Do you remember when we were in Brother White's Sunday school class and as I ws about to sit down you pulled my chair out from under me? Hahahaha! At the time I was SO embarrassed and mortified. Now, it's stink in' hilarious! You could always make me laugh. Thank you for having an awesome sense of humor.
Thank you for all the inside jokes, happy moments, and good hugs. I love you so much and I wish you all the happiness in your life. Thanks for being my bacon bits!

Letter #34 Doctor Doctor Give me the News!
Thank you to all the doctors that helped my Uncle Craig during his trial of cancer. He was diagnosed with colorectal cancer a few months ago and things weren't looking good. He was weak and in so much pain. Although going to the doctors was a stressful and painful process, today, Craig is officially in remission! He got a body scan and they couldn't find a single cancer cell! Thank you for helping Criag and for doing such a great job with helping all cancer patients. I will never go to medical school, but I appreciate and admire those who have. Thank you for being earth angels.
